Carrie, Veterinary Assistant

Carrie began her animal career at a young age. Her grandfather owned a feed store and raised livestock.  She then furthered her interest by working at a pet store, gaining experience with exotic animals and animal husbandry.

Upon graduation from Pima Medical Institute in 2003, she became a Veterinarian's Assistant-- working in the veterinary field ever since. Carrie joined the Family Pet Clinic team in 2020 and has enjoyed working with all the small animals, exotics and pocket pets that come through the door!

Carrie moved to Oklahoma from New Mexico, bringing along her dogs, Bella and Daisy.  As well as, a cat, and three Nigerian Dwarf Goats!  And we cannot forget about her Bearded Dragon, Sunny!

Carrie is happily married and has one beautiful daughter.  The whole family loves animals, and Carrie says "it's in my blood to work with animals!"
